In this episode, a new team member is introduced, Takeyama –who prefers to be called using his codename, Christ. He is a genius. When Noda is trying to pick a fight with him, he used his “verbal assault” of Pi numbers and Noda’s dumb brain gave up and he loses. Their mission this time is to sneak into angel area. (The angel’s hostel). They once again use the band “Girls Dead Monster” to pull off a concert and divert the angel’s attention. The band played a short preview of the song that they will be performing according to the mission, and the vocalist Iwasawa was given a few words by Yuri to play something faster..
After that, Otonashi meet with Iwasawa during their rehearsal and have a little talk. She tells about her past life. She was a child from a broken family where her parents are always fighting and one day, she found another way to escape from the problem through music. She found an old guitar and picked it up from the streets. It was nice seeing her find that glint of hope in her life as she used music to guide herself towards independence from her parents. Soon she eventually died; she suddenly collapsed from a cerebral infarction (caused by a blow to a head from her parents’ quarrelling) and her subsequent loss of speech (aphasia). Its a very sad fate. I sympathized for her unfortunate end, which reaffirmed my theory that everyone here led sad and sorrowful past lives.

The concert went as planned and the band rocked the whole school. But soon, the guards came and stop the concert. She desperately grab her guitar back and starts to play the ballad (‘My song) and left the entire crowd stunned with the beauty of the song. Then she disappears, when the song ends. The world serves as a transitional period for people who have died, allowing them to eventually move on once they’re content with accomplishing what they couldn’t while alive.
On the other scene, hacking into Tenshi’s computer shows that her abilities weren’t granted by God, but actually developed by herself. This raises the question as to who Tenshi really is if she’s not an angel of some sort. Could she just be another girl who met a horrible fate and is taking it upon herself to guide the people in this world into accepting their deaths?
its getting more interesting .. yay~ =D
