Without a vocalist for the band, Yui was chosen as a replacement. I still prefer Lia’s original version of “My Soul, Your Beats”. As cool as it was seeing Yui rock it up and come off quite differently than her actual self.
What was surprising though was how they tried to slip in Hinata’s subplot about his past life as a high school baseball player aiming for Koushien. Through the episode, some moments reminded him of the nostalgia of his past. He died from some drugs given to him by his teammate.
During the game, i really thought that he was going to disappear just like iwasawa did. But Yuri had an evil plan, she wants him to miss the catch. During the golden moment, she jumped in and cut off the beautiful moments. Actually she helped. He snaps out of it and remain in the world. Otonashi starts to think and reason how people from this world will disappear, he is about to find more in the coming episodes.
